Pre-Raphaelite Exhibition – Manchester Art Gallery
Art lovers in the Manchester area will be thrilled to know that from
24 September to 29 January 2012. the Manchester Art Gallery is holding
an exhibition of work by the Pre-Raphaelite artist, Ford Madox Brown.
So if this exhibition sounds like your cup of tea and you want to
enjoy a few hours of culture, book a Manchester minibus and take the
kids and their friends for an educational day out.
The exhibition in Manchester will be your only chance to see the show
in the UK. It will be broadly divided up into each of the major themes
of Ford Madox Brown’s life and work, beginning with his early career
and moving on through the his later years as a draughtsman and
painter.
Tickets to the exhibition are only £8 and under 18s are free. The
exhibition is open every day apart from Monday and with half term not
too far away this might be a great idea for a day out in Manchester,
especially for older kids. And if you do not fancy fighting with the
