Manchester Day!
On Sunday 20th June, the dirty streets of Manchester will be miraculously be transformed into a colorful copy of New Orleans Mardi Gras Festival!
The Manchester Day Parade is intended to be a celebration of the cultural diversity of the people who live and work in the city of Manchester. The festival is by the people, for the people. The idea is to bring together all of the different cultures and organizations, and create a wonderful, vibrant mix of color and sound.
Out of This World
There will be decorative floats, street entertainers, dancers, and amazing out-of-this-world 
wheeled structures designed by the local community. The pre-selected participants have been hard at work designing their floats and costumes, practicing their dance routines, and an amazing array of talent is expected to dazzle Manchester on the day.
This groundbreaking event promises to be an amazing event for both residents and visitors to celebrate the unique creativity and diversity of Manchester. So come along and have fun at the first Manchester Parade—it promises to be an unforgettable day for the whole city.
