Heaton Park Manchester 5k run 2010 is to help rase money for a small charity called “When you wish upon a star” Their primary aim is to grant the wishes of children with a life threatening illness. Every day the charity receive letters from parents and sick children, asking if their child can have a wish granted. ‘When you wish upon a star’ does their very best to make that dream come true. This provides happy and precious memories for the families and children.
Horse Riding Lessons
On the day of the run there will be a balloon launch, and one lucky person who finds a balloon
and sends it back will win a horse riding lesson at Heaton Park. Also the runner who comes first in the race will receive a tooth whitening session worth £200
