Fans of multimedia entertainment have a fantastic line-up to look
forward to at this year’s Manchester International Festival. There is
a great selection of wonderful and talented artists booked to perform,
but before you make plans to enjoy the festival zone, make sure you

This will be the 3rd year the International Festival has been brought
to the city of Manchester and the show will be running from 30th June
to 17th July. Last year’s show was truly exceptional and there were
more 20 world premiers including contemporary music, opera, theatre,
dance, ballet, and many, many more shows.
The highlights
Special highlights at the Manchester International Festival this year
include Damon Albarn in a collaboration with the English National
Opera in a show of magic, music and illusion; Snoop Dog in a showcase
performance of his album; and Bjork, with a fully immersive multimedia
show to dazzle the senses. There will also be lots of family friendly
shows for all ages throughout the event.
