Manchester Irish Festival Coming Soon!
If pints of Guinness and toe tapping music are your thing, you can look forward to another fantastic catalogue of entertainment from the legendary Manchester Irish Festival, also known as the Tradfest.
Guinness and the Levenshulme Pub Company are sponsoring the Irish Festival, so you can expect ample supplies of the creamy stuff on tap throughout the two week event. This year’s opening concert for the Irish Festival will feature
IrishanBlues legends, Van Morrison, Thin Lizzy, Bob Dylan, and Rory Gallagher, and is taking
place on March 4th at the M19 venue in Levenshulme Village.
There will be plenty of other musical treats throughout the two week festival, including Blues singer/songwriter Sean Taylor, and flying over from Dublin to take part will be Preachers Son and Mairead Farrell. Other musicians include legendary blues guitarist, Zacc Rogers, plus Midnight Mafia, Ged Wilson, and New Leaves. Last year’s gigs proved to be a roaring success, so this year’s concerts are likely to be just as good, if not better. And if you fancy coming along to enjoy a taste of the Irish Velvet whilst listening to some great music, book a Manchester minibus so you don’t have to drive!
