Urban Moves is a three-day dance festival featuring a host of live professional dancers performing outdoors. Prepare to be surprised and amazed by the dancers’ unique blend of dance and spectacle.

The dance festival is being performed to celebrate Manchester’s cityscape and architecture—
from the parks and squares, to the beautiful city gardens. Residents and visitors can enjoy wonderful and inspirational dance performances on walls, shop windows, across the city squares, and in the many parks. If you are feeling brave, or just mad, you can even join in with other performers and take part in the one of a kind Bicycle Ballet.
This is planned as a choreographed dance using bicycles, and participants need not have any dancing experience, just some basic bike proficiency.
